#82: Ask Me Anything: My Fixed Mindset, Coaching Industry Shifts, Finding Your Niche, and More

Answering your questions about fixed mindset, coaching challenges, and personal growth in real life.

In this Ask Me Anything episode, I break down how fixed mindset shows up when belief in change feels impossible, even when progress is already happening.

I share practical ways to coach clients (and yourself) through these moments, including how to ask better questions to uncover why someone doesn’t believe in their progress and how to highlight wins without simply telling someone they’ve succeeded. I also answer a few personal questions, including what it’s been like navigating being single in my 30s.

We also dive into current shifts in the coaching industry. Why people are seeking more value, why hesitation around investments is normal, and why clearly defining your niche matters more than ever.

And if you feel like you’re working with clients who keep getting stuck in fixed mindset patterns and self-sabotage, you’ll want to get your hands on my 5 FREE lessons in behavior change and mindset. These lessons will help you coach clients to move past all-or-nothing thinking, develop more self-control, increase motivation, and build real follow-through.

Yeah, business has a lot of ups and downs and challenges and people to manage and big changes and pivots and. In one year, you can see the best results you’ve ever seen from something and in the same year see the worst results you’ve seen of something and really start to get in your head about, do I actually even know what I’m doing?

Hello, my friends, and welcome back to not another mindset show. I’m your host, Dr. Kasey Jo. My goal with this. Podcast is to take the science of mindset and behavior change and distill it down into actionable takeaways for you. Together we’re gonna unpack research around motivations, self-sabotage, willpower, and so much more, and we’re going to take all of that and translate it into strategies you can immediately apply to your health, fitness, relationships, business.

Marketing clients, all of the things. But just to be clear, it’s not all serious and sciencey around here. We’re gonna have a ton of fun too, and I’m so excited to share all of this with you. All right, let’s go ahead and get into the episode. Hello my friends. Welcome back to not another Mindset show. We have another Ask Me Anything q and a episode for you today.

I say this every time, but I really love these episodes because it’s you asking your questions and me answering them so that I don’t have to pretend like I know what you all need support with, what you wanna learn more about, because you get to just tell me straightforward. We love it and. If you listen to this episode, or honestly in any of the episodes, there is a link in the show notes where you can submit your questions for a future q and a episode.

And being totally honest, I don’t get a ton of questions. In fact, I was pretty surprised this morning on my Instagram stories, I threw up a question box for people to submit their questions. And also did one of those like little anonymous question links, and usually it takes some time for people to see it and actually say something.

And a lot of times people have questions and they still don’t put them in there. If that’s you, please don’t be nervous. Please don’t be scared. Please just ask any of your questions. Okay. Um, but I got a bunch. This morning when I put up those question boxes, but in the show notes of every single episode, this is what I was getting at in, in the first place here, there is a link to a form where you can submit questions at any time.

Every single episode has this in the show notes, so all you have to do is just like scroll down to the episode description and that is in there. So please do that. Please allow me to keep doing these episodes because without your questions, I can’t do them. Okay? Okay. We have. A good variety of questions today.

Not as, I was gonna say net, not as unhinged as last time. In the last episode, there was a couple questions about like my dating life and asking if I would be interested in matchmaking and, and those were just like fun for me to answer. Um, but not as personal today. But I say that and the very first question is, have you ever found yourself with a fixed mindset?

If yes, please share. And the answer is. All the freaking time. I am not immune to fixed mindset stuff just because I am a mindset researcher and I spent years and years studying this, and now I’ve spent years and years continuing to teach it. It still comes up for me. I will say, because of my experience and length of time doing this stuff.

It gets easier and easier for me to spot it and stop it in its tracks and ask questions and better understand why I’m thinking that way. Try to better understand how it might be showing up in my life if there’s something I need to do about it. So I’m not immune to it. I don’t think anybody is anybody who tells you.

I have growth mindset about everything, and I never run into fixed mindset issues is lying. Okay. So yeah. I have found myself with a fixed mindset in different areas of my life. I think I’ve talked about this a little bit on the podcast before, but dating for sure, kind of starting with a more personal angle.

I’ve been pretty much single for almost three years now. I’ve had a couple, and when I say a couple, I literally mean two spurts of seeing one person exclusively for. Three months. I think both of them were about three months, and both of them are, were at like the top of the year, like January through March.

Um, so hey, I’m recording this in October. By the time this airs, it’s probably gonna be like February. I might be in my third spurt of a short term situation, but please, please send all the good vibes that that is not the case for me in 2026. Um, but as far as fixed mindset goes. Yeah, I mean, I am, as you’re listening to this episode, I’ll be 33.

I’m 32 right now, but I turned 33 on December 19th where my Sagittarius sister’s at. Um, I definitely get fixed mindset. Thoughts about dating and relationships, especially when I have a ton of friends who have been like in and out of relationships in the amount of time that I’ve been pretty much single for three years.

Or friends who get out of long-term relationships and find their person within weeks, months, and I’m like, what? How? How is that possible? And of course, when you see some of those examples of people being successful in areas that you’re not successful in, then it does bring up questions in your mind of, well, what’s wrong with me?

What am I doing incorrectly? What could I be doing more? What? Why? Why isn’t this as easy for me as it is for other people? Those are all like fixed mindset statements. ’cause it’s kind of coming back to the, there’s something that’s different and bad about who I am compared to these other people who have seen success and seen success relatively quickly out of long-term relationships.

But. Again, very quick to stop myself in those thinking patterns and really think, is this even true? And honestly, that’s like the a question that you could take home with you anytime you’re having fixed mindset thoughts. It could be disguised as victim mentality or imposter syndrome or anything like that.

Like is, is that even true? The answer is no. Like I am my own unique person and I think I’m pretty awesome. Okay. I know I’m a great partner. I’ve been in two to four year long relationships, four or five times in my life, and this is the longest I’ve actually ever been single, like by a by miles. So. That said, you know, none of those, he see fixed mindset, but, but none of those relationships worked out.

So maybe I’m just like not a relationship person. Maybe I’m not as good at long-term relationships as I thought, you know? So yeah, all of that can come up and like you will find evidence to support why you, you thinking in that way is accurate. But the reality is. I’m also, here’s like evidence against those thoughts.

I’m also a lot pickier today than I was at age 25. I have had those long-term relationships, so I’m really, really clear on what I’m looking for in a relationship and the things that went really well in those relationships and why I really enjoyed being with that person for years on end. And. That makes it harder to now find someone currently than maybe it did before, because I’m so much more clear.

And that then brings me to more of a growth mindset thinking of, you know, when I do find that next person, that’s probably gonna be it because of all of this. Right. And also it’s, I, I get questions all the time that are like, how are you still single? Like, why are you still single? And yeah. I’m, I’m pickier.

I also. Have really built a life for myself on my own that I am obsessed with. I have so much love and support from other people in my life and other relationships in my life. So the person who enters into my life in a romantic partnership and for the long term really needs to like add on top of all of this amazing stuff I already have, which again, then makes it harder.

So is it that? I’m not good at relationships. I’m never gonna find my person. All of those fixed mindset thoughts, or is it that I am currently choosing to stay single because I am pickier because I have different standards. I’m more clear on who I am and who the person I want to be is. And that’s the reality, right?

And so that’s a more growth mindset way of looking at it that. I’m just more clear now, so it’s taking a little bit more time than it has in the past to find my, my next partner. But it’s because my next partner will be my last partner and that is more of a growth mindset way of thinking. So anyway, you didn’t really, whoever asked this question, you didn’t really ask me for like how I got through the fixed mindset or how I shifted it to a growth mindset.

But you’re kinda getting that anyway. Um, other things too, like business. Absolutely.

The biggest sigh ever. I say this all the time, that being a business owner is like the biggest and best mindset exercise, like continuous mindset exercise that you can find so long as you actually see it that way, that it is the best mindset exercise and not the worst. So. Yeah, business has a lot of ups and downs and challenges and people to manage and big changes and pivots.

And in one year you can see the best results you’ve ever seen from something. And in the same year see the worst results you’ve seen of something and really start to get in your head about, do I actually even know what I’m doing? Am I actually as good at this as I thought I was? And those are kind of fixed mindset type of questions.

Um. So, yeah, uh, that comes up too. But we manage it and then we leverage it and it, I am will say this, giving myself pat on the back. I am very good at when things aren’t going well in business or something doesn’t go the way that we planned it. Outcomes aren’t as fantastic as we wanted them to be. I am really good at seeing that as an opportunity and as a challenge and, okay, well what do we gotta do different?

Or, okay, so this is happening, this is changing, this is going on. How can we use that space to create something better than so we’re losing this person or. This thing didn’t go well. So how do we make that thing go better next time? How do we replace that person with someone who’s potentially even better, can perform better, can get us better results, get a better ROI for the business?

So I am continuously in that space. So although I’ll have some of those like fixed mindset questions come up, little voice in the back of my head on a larger scale from a business perspective, I do feel like I’m, I’m pretty good at. Getting right back into like growth mindset territory. Um, in school I had somewhat of a fixed mindset, which is hilarious and just, yeah, because I’m studying mindset to have a fixed mindset while I’m going through a PhD program about mindset.

Um, but yeah, I mean for sure had those thoughts. I mentioned this on the health mindset coaching certification call yesterday with my students. We were like on the topic of imposter syndrome, it was like, yeah, for. The entirety of my PhD, I was the youngest one in my class. Um, because a lot of people take time off between undergrad and grad school, especially if you’re going into a PhD program, whether it is to like go work, go get more experience, whatever, still trying to figure out if you wanna go and jump into more school in the first place.

So I didn’t have any gap year at all, and that made me very young. In my PhD program. I got my, I. Finished my PhD by the age of like 26 or 27. Um, so anyway, during that, like seeing. As you can imagine, and obviously as it should be, people who are in PhD programs are really, really fucking smart and really have unique opinions and ideas and think outside the box and pick up things really easily because that’s literally how they got there, right?

You don’t get into it super advanced niche degree like that against hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of other. Applicants if you aren’t that person. So then when you get plopped into that group of people, you do question your own abilities, your own intellect, your own ability to come up with like unique ideas and be really different than other people.

And then also being like the younger one, I’m like, but there was a lot of times I was like, mm. Something got mixed up here. I’m not supposed to be here, someone else was, but like somehow I snuck in. So definitely had a lot of those thoughts, but came back to again, kind of what I was just sharing. Like I was chosen amongst hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of other people because I am similar to those that are here.

Otherwise I wouldn’t be here. Right. So just kind of coming back to like what is actually true? What is actually true? What is actually true? What evidence do I have? What evidence do I have against, like make this the most accurate depiction and that does help me. Okay. I’m not gonna drone on anymore about my own fixed mindset.

Okay, so next question. How would you coach a client who struggles with believing they can make changes to get healthier, even though they have made progress in that direction? So you have a client who’s made progress about being, about getting healthier, and maybe they’re getting to the gym more than they were before.

They’re eating healthier than they were before. However, at the same time they’re telling you they don’t believe in themselves to do those things, even though they have clear evidence that they have done it. Um, I think for a long time, and you listening right now have probably had these situations. I mean, that’s like kind of similar to the PhD conversation.

I was just having that even if you’ve made progress, even if you’ve. Gotten somewhere that you haven’t gotten to before and you’re doing things different than you were before, and that is all on the way to seeing even more progress. It still happens where you question whether or not you believe that you’re actually capable to like take it for the long haul or see that.

Bigger desired outcome at the, the end of the tunnel, right? So even though you’re marching down the tunnel and you’re starting to see the light down there, you’re getting closer and closer. You still may not believe that you can actually get there, right? Like that’s, that’s totally normal. And I would even say that’s probably just a little bit of your brain trying to protect you at that point.

That, hey, just because you made some progress doesn’t mean you’re gonna get all the way there. Doesn’t mean you’ll actually finish the PhD program just ’cause you got in. Right? So just like be on the lookout, be careful you don’t wanna fail. You know what that’s gonna feel like. So there’s probably just a little bit of like a safety mechanism at play with that.

And that’s something you could potentially share with clients too, if that you feel like that that. Fits. Um, I would also then ask your client, who says that they don’t believe in themselves, but they are making progress. Ask them why they don’t believe in themselves. I sometimes these questions can be so simple, but are so powerful, like, tell me a little bit more about.

Why you don’t believe that this is something you can do. And you could even toss in a little bit, like from my professional opinion, looking at what we’ve done together over the past three, six months, whatever you’ve made significant progress to be more healthy. Like look at the difference here. You could like show them their check-in from yesterday compared to their third check-in and give them that kind of tangible evidence.

And ask them. So I’m curious like where you’re coming from with this, because that’s what matters most. Like you need to believe in yourself. It doesn’t matter if I do at the end of the day. So really getting down into like, why don’t you, why don’t you believe in yourself? And I was kind of mentioning this with the previous question, but something you can do with your clients as well, not just your own mindset, is have them like look at the evidence that supports their belief.

What evidence do you have that supports the belief that you are not capable of getting healthier and having a healthier lifestyle? Because that’s going to tell you why they don’t believe in themselves, right? So that’s kind of another way to ask the same question, but then also we want them to look at the evidence that supports the contrary.

Also, give me some evidence as to why that might not be true, that you should believe in yourself, that you are capable. And then that can kind of like tie into the conversation about the things that they have done thus far. Um. I think also like as coaches, it is important for us to be always looking for bright spots with our clients and highlighting it for them because all humans, yourself included, we’re not so great at.

Celebrating and recognizing our wins and our strengths. We’re really good at picking out the things that we need to do better and that we’re not good enough at, and the things we haven’t done yet, but not so much when it comes to our wins. Right? So as a coach, it can be really, really helpful to just make sure you are highlighting the progress that they’re making and the wins that they do have along the way, and also ask them what they think about it.

How does it make them feel? It is one thing for you to say, but oh my gosh. Look, you have gone from drinking 30 ounces of water and getting 2K steps a day to drinking 60 ounces of water and getting 10,000 steps a day, and it’s now just like super habitual for you. Like you don’t even have to think about it where it used to be so difficult for you.

That’s so awesome. It’s one thing to do that, it’s another thing to then tack on the piece of how does that make you feel? What does that mean for you? So if they come back and they’re like, it doesn’t mean anything. I’ve hardly done anything. I’m just doing what most people do. Or if they come back and they’re like, wow, yeah, I didn’t realize that I’ve actually made such significant progress in that area.

That really helps. Their response could be so different, but it’s going to show you kind of where their mindset is at and also probably be pretty predictive of what’s going to happen next. And you wanna be able to nip that in the bud there and have those conversations then so they don’t start going like downhill later on.

Um, there’s a phrase too, that you can use with your clients, and feel free to put this wherever you feel like makes sense. The phrase that I have, it’s sort of like a fill in the blank opportunity is because I did blank means that I am blank. This could even be something that you put at the end of your check-in forms that you have them like reflect every single week.

Whether they take that positively or negatively, right? Um, but because I hit 10,000 steps this whole week means that I am getting so much closer to getting daily movement in without it being such a hassle. Because I meal prepped this week means that I am prioritizing myself. It is important that I take care of myself.

Okay, taking a quick break here to talk to you about something. I know you want more of clients. Getting more client applications, making more sales. This stuff feels a lot harder these days. I mean, I used to be able to post a donut on Instagram and get like 20 client applications. What used to work just doesn’t seem to work anymore, but that doesn’t mean you’re out of luck.

The one thing I’ve seen to continue to work. Over the years with my students, my business mentorship clients, and of course in my own business too, no matter what social media looks like or how the industry is changing, this one thing will never go out of style and will always work, and that one thing is mindset.

Psychology. This really is the ultimate sales trick, but it’s really not a trick at all. Signing more clients and having them stick around with you longer is so much less about sales and marketing and so much more about just understanding how humans make decisions and get motivated to change. You’re used to me sharing all the time on the podcast about education, around coaching practices, but this mindset and behavior change coaching stuff should start before.

The coaching relationship even kicks off. One of my most popular and affordable workshop series has recently been totally revamped and upgraded the psychology of signing more clients. I am super stoked to share with you some of my favorite science backed strategies for attracting more clients and feeling good when you do it.

No icky sales tactics over here. Make sure you check out the show notes to learn more about the psychology of signing more clients. Okay. Next question. What are some shifts that you’re noticing in the coaching industry? I think the biggest shift is that people want more, people want more, and I think especially with like the rise of AI tools and everything, like they have the basics at their fingertips more than ever before.

Calculate my macros, write me a workout routine. Those are things that are so readily available. And the number of free calculators and free programs that exist, I mean. It is not enough. To be a coach who just sets up personalized macros and personalized training and then adjusts it over time, people want more.

People are gonna even continue more. So I believe, my own opinion to want a real connection with someone, a human, human connection, because so much of what we do is online and through AI and software. Of that. So cultivating that relationship is so important. And even thinking back to like basic psychological needs that we have as humans, autonomy, belongingness, and competence.

So how can we help our clients feel like they belong? You as the coach in your coaching community to create that kind of culture while also feeling like they have autonomy and independence over decision making and that they are still doing things on their own with your support and they feel competent to do so, that they actually feel like they’re capable of doing it.

Those are things that are gonna be so supportive when it comes to helping your clients with motivation and sticking to the plan. So how can you make sure that that’s embedded into your coaching? Because I can tell you right now that those things are gonna be pretty hard to get outside of a one-on-one coaching relationship or some sort of like group coaching container with other human beings.

So that said too, I think another shift that I’ve been seeing a lot, honestly within like the last year or plus. People being hesitant to hire coaches, and it’s not just hire coaches, it’s invest in anything that is not absolutely necessary, especially in the US where not really sure what’s gonna happen with the economy.

There’s so much uncertainty going on. People are a lot more fearful to make. Significant investments or even like smaller investments, honestly. So being a one-on-one health and fitness coach and being able to hire a one-on-one health and fitness coach has always been a luxury. Right. And now even more so, the people, even the people who can afford it, might be, um, far more hesitant or might be really thinking twice about doing it because, oh, do I really need this right now?

Because of kind of like the error of fear that is around. In the world at the moment, which is unfortunate. So because we really like, here’s the thing, having a one-on-one health and fitness coach is not absolutely necessary, right? It can make things go way faster, feel way better, way easier. So it really becomes.

Your not to turn this into like a, a marketing strategy or anything, but that’s kind of what I’m doing. But I hope it’s helpful. Um, I’m going a different direction with this question. Um, I think it’s important then in your messaging, in your marketing when you’re speaking with clients, to be frank, like, Hey, you don’t absolutely need this to be successful, however.

If you want to reach X, Y, Z specific goal outcome in half the amount of time with half the amount of effort, and never feel like you’re actually second guessing, if you’re doing the right thing for you, then I’m here for you. So how can we position coaching or whatever your offer is during these like uncertain times and where people are not?

Making investments like this as much as they used to, how can we position it as sure, not absolutely necessary? It’s not like you can’t ever make progress without a coach. However, here’s all these other really important factors to consider. So how can we make it as necessary as possible for that specific person that you want to work with?

Um, also, I just think the coaching industry has a lot more coaches in it, and it’s not just an, I think we know, like statistics, statistics show, um, online coaching continues to rise and rise and rise and more and more money is in that industry than ever before. And. That’s a good thing. Obviously we want more people to get helped, but also you as that as one singular coach in the sea of other coaches can start to feel like, man, is it just like too saturated?

Is that why I’m not getting more clients? Or is it that you just need to stand out more? And I don’t mean stand out by. Doing the traditional same type of coaching that everybody does and marketing it the same as everybody does, and just lowering your prices ’cause that’ll make you stand out. Someone might choose you just because you’re the cheapest option, but I’m pretty sure you don’t wanna just be the cheapest option.

Instead, what other things can you include in your coaching? How can you do things differently? How can you message differently? How can you speak to a very niche specific type of person versus speaking to everybody and really get that person’s attention? How can you stand out is really the question here.

I mean, I talk to my students about this all the time. How. The Health Mindset Coaching certification is a vehicle to stand out more because there are tons of coaches out there who claim that they will help you with your mindset, but don’t have any specific formal training in mindset or coaches who will talk about, you need to change your behaviors for the long term, but do they actually have any evidence-based strategies to help them change their behaviors for the long term?

So. My students who have gone through the certification get to leverage all of this to their advantage and kind of like show use contrast marketing in that way that. I’m not just another health and fitness coach. I have extensive training in how to help you actually stick to the plan. And I can promise you then that after you and I work together, this is stuff that you’re gonna be able to hang on to forever and not have to ever do another diet program again, because we have not just established the nutrition and exercise skills, but also the mindset and behavior change in psychology skills as well.

So yeah, just. More so using an example from my own space in my own community. But that can go for a lot of different niches and you could get more specific there. Which actually perfect segue into the next question it seems. What advice would you give to help nail down fitness niche? You say niche or niche?

I say niche apparently as a multi-passionate person, so. The person who asked this is multi-passionate. She has a lot of different people that she would wanna work with, but she’s probably hearing all the time, like, you need to get specific with who you’re talking to. And I, I mean, I do agree with that. I do agree that the whole notion of if you’re speaking to everyone, you’re speaking to no one.

Because again, then kind of similarly the other question, you’re just falling into the sea of what everybody else is talking about. Um. So I do think it’s important. I actually went to dinner recently with a new friend and she has an online fitness coaching business and she works with petite women specifically.

So that’s kind of her entire niche in messaging. And she’s often talking about, ’cause she’s, I think she’s like five one, um, is talking about like, here’s. She’ll, she’ll do content around like, here’s how I style my date night outfit for like a petite woman. You know? So she’s like always speaking about herself, but also to her clients.

That does not mean that your niche has to be you specifically, and now it’s just like expanded. Like that does work very well because you can say I am that person, so I want more people who are like me, and that’s who I work with best. Um. But I would think about a client that you’ve really, really, really loved working with.

And maybe you have a couple in mind, not because it was just easy that they didn’t even talk to you that much. Like, I love working with this person ’cause I never have to speak to them and they just do everything that I say. Not like that. Like you really enjoyed the relationship, even if there were challenges you really liked working with this person.

What were the characteristics, the traits? Who was that person? Why did you really enjoy working with them? That might give you some more clarity on your niche or the type of person you wanna work with. Um. Similarly, you can think about your own coaching. This is actually something that I ask in our really beefy, really beefy intake form.

For all of my new growth collective business mentorship, one-on-one clients, it is what is the best transformation that you provide? So thinking more about what you are really good at doing, the people that you provide the best transformation for, who is that person? I think also it, it’s, this is kind of probably something you’ve heard before, but maybe not.

So I think it’s worth mentioning, is to really just like sit down and get into the details of your ideal client avatar. And I say avatar, like you could even give him or her a name, you know, surely is a mom of three children, she. Works as a high level executive. So she gets home and she’s kind of burning the candle at both ends, both in her career and in her family.

But she’s so family oriented and really wants to make the most for her children and. Also do the most for her people at work and in her career that she’s often forgetting to take care of herself, but she knows she needs support and accountability and needs someone in her corner to make this easier for her, to give her more guidelines and to ensure that she is taking care of herself.

If Shirley is your ideal client, like there’s your niche, your niche is like mom’s. Who are still career oriented and don’t wanna have to give up either of those things while also taking care of themselves. And now that is where all of your messaging goes to. So just an example there. Um, okay, last question is a fun one and also is very relevant because as I’m wearing my Lando Norris hat and my nails are obnoxious.

I know, but the Formula One race in Austin is this weekend as I’m recording this. So that is why I’m, I’m decked out today. And this question is, the best driver in F1 is not paired with the best team thoughts. So this is, this is a funny question because this person is not really asking me a question.

They’re just, well, they’re asking my thoughts, but they’re making a statement that Max first Stepin. For those of you who don’t care about Formula One, feel free to just like get outta here. But if you wanna learn a little bit about things that I’m obsessed with outside of mindset, this is it. Um, max First Nappen is a four time driver’s world champion.

Four time driver, how am I trying to say this? He has won the driver’s world championship four times, whatever. Um, and he races for Red Bull and his team has, yeah, notoriously been moving people in and out of that second seat. So there’s two drivers. For every Formula One team, max is one of them on Red Bull, and the second seat has been swapped out many times.

Um, a big discussion around that is that the car is built for Max and not for other drivers, which is why it’s so hard for other people to stay, but Red Bull’s very quick to get them out if they don’t perform. So this person who put this question in. Is wanting to know if I agree that the best driver in F1 is Max for Sapen and he’s not with the best team.

Um, listen, max is a really good driver. He does drive dirty often, and I think tries to skirt around some rules. Um, but also people appreciate him for it because he, he does live and breathe racing. Like when he’s not racing, he’s racing in the simulator. He’s racing in other. Situations. I think I, oh my God, I saw a reel the other day that he was downhill ski racing.

I’m like, what? He just, just never stops competing. Very competitive, right? And he is very, very good. Has great defensive skills. Um, so yeah, I mean, I would say he’s one of the best in F1 right now. I’m not gonna sit here and say that no, Orlando Norris is the best because he’s my boy. Okay. I’m not that biased.

Um, but I do think. A similar situation happened with Lewis Hamilton. He has won seven championships and went to Ferrari in 2025 and did not perform well at all. So are we then saying, is it who’s better? Max or Lewis? I mean, there’s been a lot of fighting between them over the years for sure. But anyway, I don’t really feel like I can like fully answer this.

’cause I, I, this is where my bias has come in because. My loyalty is with an entirely different team, but, but, um, I will say I agree, max is very good and perhaps if he was in a better car with a better team because ultimately team teamwork makes the dream work. So having two really good drivers and having a great team morale can get you very far.

Versus just having like one of those pieces, right? Um, and we’re starting to see that, and this is by the time you listen to this, this, this 20, 25 season will be over. But McLaren has two very good drivers that are both in contention for the championship and that’s starting to get a little bit messy. And we can see how maybe there might be like a small implosion from the inside, which I’m very much hoping there is not, um, because that’s my team, but.

Anyway, I just, I basically totally roundabout answered this question and you probably don’t need to hear me talk about Formula One anymore for like literally another second. So I’m gonna stop there. I appreciate your questions. Please send me more, send me more questions so I can do more episodes like this.

There is a link in the show notes. I put it up in my Instagram stories all the time. That’s where all of these questions came from, my Instagram stories this morning when I put up a question box.
